We collect precise location information (GPS coordinates) from your device to provide core services in the Welyft Rider application, including:

Real-time tracking of your position for customers to view rider location and estimated arrival time
Matching riders with nearby orders or deliveries
Accurate navigation, route guidance, and ETA calculations
Safety and verification features during active rides

Location data is collected in the following ways:

When the app is actively in use (foreground location)
In the background (even when the app is minimized, closed, or running in the background) during active ride or delivery sessions only

We only access background location for ongoing rides/deliveries and automatically stop collecting it when the ride ends. Location data is never sold or shared with third parties except as strictly necessary for service delivery (e.g., with map/navigation providers like Google Maps) and is protected with industry-standard security measures.

You can control or disable location access (including background location) at any time through your device settings: Settings → Apps → Welyft Rider → Permissions → Location.

We use this information to provide features of Our Service, to improve and customize Our Service. The information may be uploaded to the Company's servers and/or a Service Provider's server or it may be simply stored on Your device.
